Responsibilities
ECS Limited is seeking an experienced engineering leader to manage our Fort Myers office. As the Group Manager, you will oversee engineering projects, staff, business development, and day-to-day operations for the branch.
Responsibilities:- Requires a commitment to lead and mentor a team of geotechnical and construction materials engineers and project managers
- Oversee and manage all laboratory operations
- Oversee projects and perform technical report reviews, prepare proposals and management of the departments and group related P&L
- Assist other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions
- Interact with senior staff members and mentor junior staff members
- Assist with recruiting and maintaining an adequate staff level in your group
Qualifications
Required Qualifications- 8 years of related experience
- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university
- If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required
- Proficient with geotechnical principles and applications
- Have practical experience in conducting laboratory testing, construction observation, and field quality assurance testing
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong project management and marketing skills
- Must possess leadership qualifications and be business development oriented
