Position Summary
This strategic role will be instrumental in advancing Walmart's global compliance, ethics, and customer privacy solutions. As a key leader, you will drive the integration of a seamless, secure shopping experience with robust regulatory compliance.
Leveraging omni-channel data and AI/ML technologies, you will enhance our predictive, real-time risk management platform, tools, and services. Your efforts will ensure a safe, friction-free shopping experience that always prioritizes our customers.

About the Team
The Walmart Global Governance Engineering team develops and operates technology solutions that ensure compliance, ethics, and customer privacy across all Walmart stores, clubs, and e-commerce platforms. Our team is responsible for integrating AI and cloud technologies to enhance safety and security, drive innovation, and improve customer experiences.

What You Will Do
  • Technology Leadership: Define and execute the technology strategy for Global Compliance, Ethics, and Customer Privacy solutions, ensuring alignment with Walmart's overall business objectives.
  • Innovation: Introduce and integrate Agentic AI and AI Assistance to address complex challenges in compliance and privacy, while maintaining support for existing platforms and technology stacks.
  • Safety and Security: Develop and oversee technology solutions that enhance the safety and security of our customers and associates.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and customer service, to prioritize and deliver high-impact technology features and continuous improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve and innovate Walmart's compliance and privacy solutions.
  • Performance Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of initiatives and provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress and outcomes.
  • Partnership Development: Build strong relationships with various teams to optimize engagement and deliver business value.
  • Market Awareness: Keep a pulse on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics to refine and adapt technology strategies.
  • Focus on Our Associates: Build and lead high-performing, diverse teams by driving inclusive strategies, fostering strong relationships, and promoting collaboration across functions to achieve shared goals.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • 12 years' experience in leading technology or solution development
  • 12 years' experience gathering, identifying, defining, and communicating requirements
  • 10 years' experience consulting and advising business partners utilizing detailed analysis
  • 6 years' experience building and leading high-performing teams

Bentonville, Arkansas US-09050: The annual salary range for this position is $195,000.00 - $370,000.00

Sunnyvale, California US-11349: The annual salary range for this position is $254,000.00 - $481,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
