Your RoleKey responsibilities in your new role
- Validation: Perform post-silicon validation on bench for automotive Ethernet application products, including PHY and switch devices
- Compliance: Implement and execute standard electrical compliance testing
- Characterization: Conduct analog characterization based on application requirements
- Testing: Perform PVT (Process, Voltage, Temperature) validation on devices under test (DUT)
- Analysis: Analyze test data and generate clear summaries of results
- Debugging: Support analog designers in issue debugging and root cause analysis
- Automation: Utilize Python to automate test equipment and DUT processes to improve efficiency
Your ProfileQualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 0-5 years of experience in post-silicon validation
- Programming: Familiarity with Python or other programming languages, with the ability to quickly learn and apply Python
- Protocols: Exposure to Ethernet, SerDes, or PCIe is a plus
- Debugging: Strong hands-on experience with issue debugging and root cause analysis
- Details: Detail-oriented with a proactive, self-driven mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- Communication: Ability to accurately and clearly report results and issues in a timely manner
- Instrumentation: Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, VNA, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, and DMMs
- Documentation: Ability to read and interpret datasheets, PCB schematics, and technical specifications
