Full Job Description
Serves as a liaison between data consumers and analytics teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of data governance requirements. Connects policy with practice by establishing and maintaining standards and procedures to improve data quality, scalability, and governance. Facilitates the development and implementation of data governance and protection standards across the enterprise. Oversees the establishment of a state-wide data governance framework aligned with business objectives and strategy initiatives. Provides expert advice to data owners and leaders on data governance and management matters. Attends industry events to stay informed on changes, best practices, and emerging trends. Develops and implements orientation and ongoing training for staff, resident physicians, and faculty physicians on resident management suite software. Facilitates the incorporation and expansion of the resident management suite program into all state-wide training programs. Manages all resident management suite software reports required by the GME Committee, GME Administration, and Program Directors. Manages data imports from relevant resident recruitment software. Reports on system-critical accreditation and academic operations data, including schedule gaps, scholarly activity, duty hours, personnel data, academic records, and leave. Develops annual data integrity and quality assurance plans for the GME department and sponsoring institution. Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience with Residency Management System (New Innovations). [Required]
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook). [Required]
Technology/computer skills which include virtual meetings, email, spreadsheets, and web-based software. [Required]
Excellent organizational, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills. [Required]
Well-developed communication, both verbal and written skills. [Required]
Ability to adapt to changing situations, and efficiently switch between tasks. [Required]
Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion with sensitive personal information. [Required]
Ability to work independently. [Required]
Strong interpersonal skills to interact and maintain relationships with a broad spectrum of healthcare teams. [Required]
Knowledge of ACGME accreditation requirements. [Preferred]
Knowledge of the Education Commission of Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). [Preferred]
Experience with AAMC application software systems, including VSLO and ERAS [Preferred]
Education:
Bachelor's [Required]
Master's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
Bachelors degree, preferably in healthcare administration, computer technology, business administration or healthcare field
Masters degree, preferably in healthcare administration, computer technology, business administration or healthcare field
Work Experience:
2+ years of related experience, preferably at a university, medical school, gme office, residency/fellowship program, data analytics and information technology. [Required]
2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience [Preferred]
4+ years of related experience, preferably at a university, medical school, gme office, residency/fellowship program, data analytics and information technology. [Preferred]

Pay Range:
$60,257.60 - $112,070.40
