Full Job Description
AT&T has an opening for aGovernment Contractor Security Officer to support the National Security Sector.

Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. Work to be performed at a government customer site in Chantilly, VA.
  • Assists in developing, implementing, and administering the corporate and government industrial security policies, procedures and programs across the contract.
  • Supports liaison with outside agencies and keeps management informed of all industrial security activities. Implement procedures for visitor control, employee identification and safeguarding of company facilities, equipment, materials, and employee property.
  • Uses Intelligence Community Directive (ICD)-705 to help ensure physical security controls.
  • Responsible for implementing, and administering the corporate and government industrial security policies, procedures, and programs across the contract.
  • Supports liaison with outside agencies and keeps management informed of all industrial security activities.
  • Supports technical and physical security requirements.
  • Assists in maintaining locks, alarms, badges, and access control system. Candidate will use ICD-705 to ensure physical security controls and ensure proper visitor control.
  • Responsible for assisting in the execution of physical/procedural security plans/programs.
  • Provides comprehensive personnel security support for the program.
  • Partners and collaborates to identify and help resolve potential risks to sensitive program and customer operations; maintaining and expanding relationships with customer security authorities to facilitate security issues important to AT&T business.

Required Qualifications:

Candidate must have 5 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a doctorate and 0 years of experience OR masters and 0 years, bachelors and 1 year, associate and 3 years or HS and5 years. Required qualifications include:

  • Possess a general understanding of all Public Laws, Executive Orders, directives, regulations, and policies associated with Intelligence Community (IC) Security requirements. This includes a working knowledge of both ICDs, as well as the Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs) used by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) as a means of disseminating national security policy and requirements relative to gaining and maintaining access to TOP SECRET/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) materials and spaces.
  • Candidate must have and maintain eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and a polygraph.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Facility Security Officer (FSO) or other security professional training through the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) or comparable U.S. Government (USG) personnel/physical security training.
  • Experience working in a team environment within a professional office setting.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
