Full Job Description
A AWM (Asset Wealth Management) Google AI Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) at Sia is an embedded "builder-doer" who acts as a bridge between Google's frontier AI products (Gemini, Vertex AI etc.) and real-world AI production systems in AWM. They work directly with large AWM customers to build, deploy, and ship custom Generative AI / Agentic AI applications, building prototypes and production-ready agents while troubleshooting technical integration challenges.
Core Responsibilities
• Customer Embedding: Act as a technical partner on-site or directly with clients to drive AI adoption.
• PoC / Pilot: Rapidly prototype to go from ideation to PoC / pilots
• Productionizing AI: Develop, debug, and deploy Generative AI applications (e.g., agentic workflows, RAG systems, MCP servers etc.) using Python.
• Integration and Coding: Architect solutions that connect Google's AI products with customer legacy infrastructure, APIs, and databases.
• High-Impact Troubleshooting: Solve complex blockers to production, including data readiness, model latency, and system evaluation.
Qualifications
• Experience: 7+ years in a technical, customer-facing role (e.g., FDE, Solutions Engineer, SRE, Software Engineer).
• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Python and experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph).
• AI Knowledge: Experience with API development, vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Experience with Google Gemini Enterprise Platform and Google data services (e.g. Big Query etc.)
• Data platform knowledge: Experience with Databricks delta lake and other parts of the data bricks data stack
• Agent Building: Experience with Agent building technologies (e.g. ADK, A2A, MCP etc). Experience with Agent Ontologies and memory management
• WAM: 5+ years of Wealth / Asset Management experience
• Problem Solving: High agency, ability to operate under ambiguity, and a "product" mindset
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Google Cloud products.
• Experience implementing multi-agent systems and advanced prompt engineering.

• Annual Base Salary Range: $135,000 - $147,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications

Office Workplace Guidelines
Sia is committed to providing a flexible workplace environment that supports client, business, and market needs. Consultants located in our primary market office locations-New York City, Charlotte, Seattle, and San Francisco-are expected to live within a reasonable commuting distance and attend the office at least three days or more per week. For Consultants outside of our primary markets, we can offer more flexible in-person requirements in accordance with your location.
