The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. We are seeking a Manager to join our Go-to-Market Strategy & Operations organization supporting the Managed Agency & Video businesses within LinkedIn Marketing Solutions. This role will act as an advisor to sales leaders across regions and will be responsible for helping crack the most important strategic and operational questions facing the business today. This position offers a candidate with experience in Consulting, Sales Operations, Business Operations, Sales Finance or Strategic Planning an exciting and high-profile opportunity to influence the trajectory of two of the highest growth priorities within LMS, interact with LinkedIn's most senior sales leaders, and become an impactful operator within LinkedIn. The ideal candidate for the Manager role will demonstrate: 1 Analytical Excellence & Attention to Detail: Strong technical data and analytical capabilities, including advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL. Capacity as analytical backbone of the team, skilled at executing end-to-end zero-defect analysis (from query construction to hypothesis testing), and leveraging insights to drive sound decision-making across a variety of planning and operational processes. 2 Problem Solving & Growth Mindset: Ability to think critically and strategically, proactively identifying opportunities for growth and process improvement. Comfort challenging the status quo and driving innovation in a rapidly changing environment. Intrinsic motivation to continually learn, innovate, and adapt. 3 Clear Communication & Project Leadership: Experience presenting to senior executives and influencing decisions through audience-centered communication (exec emails, PPTs). Proven ability to deliver results in ambiguity by leading high-priority initiatives with multiple workstreams to completion. In this role, you will: - Advise Sales Leadership: Communicate actionable, data-driven recommendations to sales leaders and executives, supporting both long-term strategic priorities and day-to-day decision-making. - Conduct In-Depth Business Performance Analyses: Frame and scope complex business problems, conduct rigorous quantitative analysis, solicit qualitative inputs, and track/ensure program impact for key organizational initiatives. - Accelerate Operational Excellence: Enhance processes, support foundational infrastructure efforts, and scale best practices across teams to contribute to operational excellence (e.g., customer segmentation, headcount planning, quota setting, performance management, data & tooling automation). - Drive Cross-Functional Projects: Spearhead and provide recommendations on strategic, cross-functional initiatives that shape LinkedIn's go-to-market strategy and sales motion. Establish strong working relationships with peers in other Operations teams and cross-functional partners (strategic finance, sales leadership, customer science, and systems teams) to achieve business objectives. - Builder Mindset: Curious, self-sufficient, and AI-fluent, with a natural instinct to identify inefficiencies, streamline complex operational processes, and proactively explore what's possible. Leverages AI and data to build practical, scalable solutions and brings a strong "go do it" mentality. Basic Qualifications: - BA/BS degree in business, operations, analytics, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience in consulting, finance, sales operations, business operations, or analytics - 6+ years in management consulting, sales or business operations, strategic finance, or an analytical/operational role - 1+ years of experience with SQL. - Experience in analyzing data and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making Preferred Qualifications: - MBA or advanced degree preferred - Experience communicating effectively and presenting to Senior Executives. - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel: expertise in data analysis and financial modeling. - Demonstrated fluency with AI tools and a builder mindset, with the ability to leverage AI and data to develop scalable analytical solutions - Strong project management skills and ability to mobilize cross-functional teams towards shared objectives - Experience working in high-growth, performance focused environments - Experience working in an advertising-led business and knowledge of the agency landscape Suggested Skills: - Stakeholder Management - Cross-functional Collaboration - Executive Communication - AI Fluency with a bias toward building - Excel / PowerPoint / Word - SQL / Python The pay range for this role is $131,000 to $212,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
