Step into a role where your coordination and technical expertise directly protect the integrity of the nation's most consequential missile defense tests and exercises. This role directly supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract, where your decisions prevent conflicts that could impact high-profile Flight Tests, Ground Tests, and joint military operations.
What You'll Be Doing- Serve as the central coordinating authority responsible for:
- Reviewing
- Deconflicting
- Approving
- All work being done within the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) / Transformation Task Force (TF) network, all facility and operational service work performed by the Facilities Engineering and Operations (FE&O) team in the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC), and all base-level work executed on Schriever Space Force Base by the 50th Communications Squadron (50 CS) / Communications Focal Point (CFP).
- This coordination is conducted in close collaboration with government customers and stakeholders to prevent conflicts and mitigate potential impacts to high-profile Flight Tests (FTs), Ground Tests (GTs), and joint military exercises.
The successful candidate will:
- Have professional verbal and written communication proficiency
- Direct experience formulating and delivering executive-level technical briefings and operational updates under time-sensitive or high-consequence conditions.
What You BringBasic Requirements:- Must have 6, or more, months of directly related/progressive IT experience or systems operations experience
- Must have demonstrated experience operating in dynamic, high-consequence operational or test environments, managing shifting mission priorities, and rapidly resolving emergent technical/scheduling conflicts.
- Must have an active DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GSEC, or SSCP) or higher at the time of hire.
- Must have an active DoW Secret Security Clearance
Desired Requirements:- Have a working knowledge of the ITIL framework, particularly Incident, Problem, Change, and Continual Service Improvement processes. Experience with Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) inspection processes.
- Have hands-on experience utilizing MDA Helix ITSM (BMC Remedy), SolarWinds network monitoring, DoD 365 SharePoint collaboration tools, and DISA Power BI analytics environments.
- Have practical knowledge and experience in network design, implementation, and routing/switching protocols and devices.
- Have practical experience with DISA-mandated security tools (e.g., Assured Compliance Assessment Solution [ACAS], Host Based Security System [HBSS]), analyzing vulnerability scans, and formulating compliance reports.
- Be familiar with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) authentication and Information Security best practices in a secure government network environment
