Job Summary:

The Global Vice President, Strategic Initiatives and North America Leader is responsible for supporting operational excellence, strategic growth, and enterprise transformation across North America. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, with a dotted-line relationship to the CEO and CFO, these executive partners with senior leadership to translate corporate strategy into measurable business outcomes while leading high-impact strategic initiatives that enhance enterprise value.

This role provides executive oversight of cross-functional operations, governance, talent strategy, corporate development, and special projects, serving as a key liaison between executive vision and organizational execution.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership
• Execute enterprise and regional strategies that drive sustainable growth and operational performance.
• Align cross-functional priorities with corporate objectives while incorporating regional business needs.
• Lead strategic initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness and competitive positioning.

Operational Excellence
• Provide executive oversight for shared services and operational functions supporting North America, including HR, Recruiting, Facilities, Transportation, and other corporate services.
• Monitor business performance, identify improvement opportunities, and partner with business leaders to implement solutions.
• Promote consistency, scalability, and standardization across operations.

Governance & Risk
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
• Oversee compensation governance and organizational controls that support sustainable growth.
• Maintain strong risk management and ethical business practices.

Talent & Culture
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, and inclusion.
• Partner with Human Resources and business leaders to strengthen organizational capability, employee engagement, and leadership development.

Executive & External Leadership
• Represent the company with executive stakeholders, government agencies, strategic partners, and industry organizations.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team on operational and strategic priorities.

Strategic Initiatives

Lead enterprise-wide initiatives that accelerate growth and shareholder value, including:
• Corporate Development: Evaluate build-versus-buy opportunities, acquisitions, integrations, and expansion strategies.
• Executive Advisory: Deliver executive-level analyses and recommendations to the CEO, CFO, and Board of Directors.
• M&A & Strategic Partnerships: Assess investment opportunities, partnerships, and value creation initiatives that strengthen enterprise valuation.
• Strategic Planning: Coordinate annual and quarterly strategic planning processes, aligning objectives with execution and value creation.
• Market Intelligence: Analyze industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
