Job Description:

The Global Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) that span across one or more business units. As a technical project manager, you will work with technical teams to manage resources, schedules, and financials and adhere to stage gate quality through the full system development life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery and apply Mars PMX methodology for project governance within our project tools. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.

This role partners with stakeholders across Mars Snacking, MGS P&O Function and within Mars Digital Technologies to deliver the Kellanova HRIS and Services integration project scope successfully. The focus is on delivery management and escalation, where the role will be expected to understand and apply best practices in project management including Mars PMX methodology for project governance within our Project tools.

This is an 18 month project role with an anticipated end date of November 2027.

What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business or relevant business function (e.g. Commercial) or equivalent 5+ years' experience in a related IT discipline Project/Program Management


What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Coordinate multiple teams within Technical Workstream: Data Conversion and Archiving, Integrations, Security and Interim Solutions in partnership with workstream leaders and SI partner to ensure the workstream is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
  • Ensure that project(s) and program is proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards
  • Assist technical leads in effective communication of technical project scope, timelines and expectations for regional and technical teams related to interdependencies and testing/change readiness activities
  • Proactively manage change control and communicate impact in project scope, identify issues and devising contingency plans.
  • Analyse and review status reports and consolidate for PPM reporting to ensure appropriate and effective senior leadership level communication
  • Utilizes the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool for planning resources, project milestones, and financials and facilitate compliance with PMX methodology for stage gate reviews and deliverable completions

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 153,600.00 - USD 211,200.00
