Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop monthly capacity plans with the Sourcing team.
  • Track production status with T2 and T3 suppliers.
  • Oversee daily production performance and address delivery challenges proactively.
  • Analyze data and present issues to senior leaders with supporting information.
  • Lead daily operational tasks both internally and externally.
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives.

Full Job Description
The Supply Planner is a key role in CCM's supply chain. He / She is responsible for ensuring that there is a timely flow of goods from factories globally, that closely matches our customer requirements, all the while being mindful of inventory and turns in our DC. The Supply Planner works closely with our factories and our Production Office in Taiwan to ensure that our Supply Plans utilizes the supplier capacity, matched with CCM's forecast and customer requirements. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES * Ensure that Supply plans and Forecasts are created, updated and aligned with suppliers; * Drive and oversee the PO management process with CCM Asia Hub to ensure that orders are placed, confirmed and tracked in accordance with supply plans; * Creating Monthly capacity plans together with the Sourcing team to ensure optimal factory utilization; * Follow ups and tracking of production and status on critical T2 & T3 suppliers; * Manage day to day production performance and proactively address potential delivery problems; * Provide analyses and connect with senior leaders to highlight issues with supporting data; * Take an active and leading role in operational daily work, internal and external; * Continuous process improvement. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * Bachelor's degree in administration combined with 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in Global purchasing and Supply Chains; * Strong ERP knowledge (Epicor is a plus); * Strong skills with Microsoft Excel and data analysis; * Strong presentation and communication skills (written and oral); * Inventory management experience is a plus; * Negotiation abilities are a plus; * Knowledge of hockey, sporting goods and/or apparel industry, an asset; * Bilingualism (French and English).
