Full Job Description
Role Summary

The Rivian Supply Chain team is looking for highly motivated and exceptional purchasing professionals to bring Rivian's engineered products to life. As a Global Supply Chain Analyst, you will serve as a key individual contributor responsible for KPI analytics within Thermal Organization and provide support to Production of different commodities. You will navigate complex sourcing projects, concurrently leading efforts with medium to large spend while supporting the execution of multi-generational vehicle strategies.

In this role, you will drive the competitive bid process with moderate leadership oversight, proactively identifying system efficiencies, and refining enterprise functionality to improve procurement speed and accuracy. You are expected to review cost gaps using industry intelligence and keep track of other Global Supply Chain Managers to protect Rivian's financial and production interests.

This position is based onsite in Myford, Irvine CA and reports to Sr Manager, Supply Chain Thermal

Responsibilities

  • Systems & Process: Effectively use supply chain systems to support business needs, including placing RFI/RFPs and purchase orders timely and accurately. Proactively identify and provide feedback on system functionality to drive process improvement.
  • Technical Understanding: Monitor economic, political, and technology landscapes with some direction to prevent risks.
  • Negotiations: Track most commercial terms and LTAs within Thermal Purchasing Organization. Track cost estimating outputs to close "should cost" gaps and identify areas of opportunity or risk with some leadership oversight.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with TPMs and Supply Chain PMs. Maintain a basic understanding of the sub-supplier footprint and raw material drivers for your assigned commodity.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders while managing expectations. Inform appropriate teams to provide detailed forecasting and costs that support long-term plans.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP, Basecamp, and using cost estimating outputs to close should-cost gaps.
  • Execution: Ability to work on problems of diverse scope and analytics, evaluating identifiable factors to find solutions
  • Operational Style: Comfortable receiving general instructions on new assignments and managing day-to-day work with some independence.
  • Travel Requirements: as required (every 2-3 months)

Pay Disclosure

The salary range for this role is $85,400 - 94,900 for Irvine, CA based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs.

The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus and equity awards.
