Global Social Media Brand Strategist based in Boston, Andover or Foxboro, MA to shape how Schneider Electric shows up across social media globally.
This role sits at the intersection of brand strategy, storytelling, content and audience engagement. The Social Brand Strategist will be responsible for translating business priorities, campaigns, partnerships, executive voices, and industry trends into compelling social-first narratives that build relevance, reputation, and brand affinity.
The ideal candidate understands both the art and science of social media, combining creativity with audience insights, platform expertise, and a strong understanding of how modern brands earn attention in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Brand Strategy - Develop and evolve Schneider Electric's global social brand strategy across key social platforms
- Identify opportunities to strengthen brand perception, relevance, differentiation, and audience engagement through social media
- Build social-first approaches that align with broader corporate, brand, communications, and campaign objectives
- Ensure a consistent and distinctive voice, tone, and personality across channels
Content & Storytelling - Translate complex business topics into engaging, audience-centric stories for social media
- Lead the development of social-first content frameworks, narrative pillars, content themes
- Partner with internal studios and agencies to develop innovative content concepts and storytelling formats
Tentpole Moments Activation - Define the social media strategy for tentpole moments and partnerships
- Identify opportunities to maximize reach and engagement through real-time storytelling and proactive content planning
- Collaborate with campaigns, communications, PR, and marketing teams to ensure integrated execution
- Turn social listening and performance insights into actionable recommendations for content and brand strategy
- Identify opportunities for experimentation and innovation across formats, platforms, and storytelling approaches
Stakeholder & Agency Management - Partner with global, regional, and local teams to elevate the quality and effectiveness of social content
- Work closely with external agencies, internal teams, production partners
Measurement & Optimization - Define success metrics for brand storytelling initiatives
- Analyze content performance and audience engagement to continuously refine strategy
- Leverage insights and reporting to inform future content investments and priorities
Qualifications & Experience - 8-10 years of experience in social media strategy, brand strategy, content marketing, digital communications, or related discipline
- Proven experience developing social-first brand strategies for global organizations or leading agencies
- Deep understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, and emerging platforms
- Strong storytelling, content planning, and editorial strategy skills.
- Experience working with creative agencies and managing content development processes
- Ability to translate data and consumer insights into actionable recommendations
- Experience operating in complex, matrixed, global organizations
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 142,400 - USD 213,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
