As a part of the YouTube Ads GTM Monetization and Pricing team within GPS, you will power YouTube's long-term commercial growth, architect global pricing strategies, optimize marketplace dynamics, and drive innovation across ad inventory, bidding capabilities, and serving mechanics, ensuring a sustainable and balanced ecosystem across advertisers, viewers, creators, and Google.

As a Global Product Lead for YouTube Monetization and Pricing, you will drive strategic monetization and marketplace optimization, inventory expansion, and commercial innovation across YouTube's core and emerging advertising surfaces. You will solve multifaceted, ambiguous business challenges by translating market signals, advertiser demand, and ecosystem trends into scalable pricing frameworks, product requirements, and go-to-market strategies.
In this role, you will help shape the future of YouTube monetization by partnering upstream with Product Management and Engineering to lead continuous innovation across pricing and bidding, inventory management, and tooling. You will build quantitative models from the ground up to evaluate auction dynamics, inventory economics, and advertiser behaviors, balancing advertiser Return On Investment (ROI), creator payouts, user experience, and long-term business growth. You will serve as a trusted cross-Product Area leader, collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, YouTube Organic, Regional GTM, and Sales Leadership to incubate, launch, and scale profitable and sustainable monetization solutions globally.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities
  • Design, model, and operationalize global pricing strategies, rate cards, and monetization frameworks across YouTube ad surfaces, balancing inventory yield, advertiser demand, creator payouts, and long-term revenue growth.
  • Partner upstream with Product Management and Engineering to define product requirements, feature specifications, and roadmap prioritization for bidding capabilities, ad serving and inventory mechanics, price tooling, and new format structures.
  • Optimize marketplace health, auction dynamics, budget utilization, and inventory yield across surfaces to drive advertiser ROI and commercial efficiency.
  • Drive commercialization strategy and global go-to-market execution for new ad serving capabilities, bidding features, pricing frameworks, and tooling; establish clear positioning, packaging, commercial guidelines, and seller enablement to ensure rapid market adoption.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across Product Management, Engineering, YouTube Organic, GTM, and Sales Leadership, formulating data-backed strategic narratives to secure executive sign-off on major monetization policies and roadmaps.
