We are seeking a
Global OEM Sales Manager for our corporate office in
Smyrna, Tennessee. This role is critical for the Ideal-Tridon Group to manage global OEM sales by supporting processes from quoting through completion of terms and sales.
Summary:The Global OEM Sales Support Manager is the key link among Ideal-Tridon's OE team, global sales team, and customers. This role focuses on all aspects of the sales support function as a project manager, working as a team member with OE sales manager(s), by being a key customer contact from quoting through completion of the terms of sale. The Global OEM Sales Support Manager leads and manages project management initiatives, the OE administration team, along with training and assisting Ideal Tridon in sales administration.
Supervisory Responsibilities:- Ensures compliance with all required industry standards and government requirements, as stated in the Ideal-Tridon Quality Manual, Quality Management System, process documentation, and all company Human Resources, Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines, to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Has responsibility and authority for quoting, pricing, sampling, budgeting, account management, project management, and information activities for their assigned customer base within the guidelines of the authorized signature list.
- Maintains and protects all company, supplier, and customer proprietary and confidential information.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Project Management - supports strategic initiatives. Includes planning and coordinating with cross-functional teams to develop timelines, resource plans, and status reports; delivering cross-functional projects that improve customer satisfaction, operational performance, and internal process efficiency; and managing process improvement, risks, and issues.
- Develops, maintains, and facilitates global administration processes including Product Cost Requests (PCR), quoting, Engineering Service Requests (ESR), and Engineering Change Request or Notice (ECR), general sales samples, tooling/sample billing process, handling customer inquiries, monthly sales reports, and processing credits and chargebacks.
- Acts as the main contact for the Ideal N.A. budget, processing all input and collaborating with Ideal Tridon teams on budget efforts for Europe, China and India operations for sales.
- Ensures consistent pricing for all global OEM customers and markets within Ideal-Tridon guidelines by managing the quoting process, adhering to margin guidelines, handling price changes and quotes, collaborating with the sales team on special quotes and price-related matters, managing authorized signature lists, and overseeing the surcharge process.
- Prepares weekly and monthly tracking reports, including questionnaires, heavy-duty PCRs, ESRs, and ECRs.
- Leads and directs employee functions such as selection, hiring, and development of employees, including making salary decisions, conducting performance reviews, and creating development plans.
- Manages training of personnel and serves as a mentor.
- Develops and maintains customer relationships.
- Ensures compliance with the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Education, Experience, Skills & Abilities: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or another related field required.
- A minimum of three years of experience in sales administration/support, inside sales, or project management is required.
- Computer software proficiency with traditional Microsoft Office applications, with advanced proficiency in Excel including the ability to build complex models, automated tools, and data-driven reporting.
- Experience in supporting global OEM sales teams is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to "multi-task" effectively with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

Hybrid Role - In office on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Work remotely on Tuesday and Thursday.
