Full Job Description
We are looking for a Director, Global Commercial, HER2-ADC to join our Global Oncology Franchise Team in Gaithersburg, MD. This is a high-impact global role for an experienced commercial leader whose strongest asset is brand strategy and who thrives in shaping growth beyond a single indication. You will help define how HER2 ADC evolves across tumor types, lead pan-tumor initiatives, shape above-brand strategy, and influence the commercial choices that will shape the brand's future. You will partner closely with global indication leads, cross-functional colleagues, regional leads and markets.

This role is particularly well suited to someone who is energized by enterprise-level brand strategy and skilled at bringing diverse stakeholders together around a shared ambition.

What you will do: Working across the organization, you will translate scientific opportunities, customer insights, and evolving market dynamics into clear strategic choices that drive sustainable growth and improve outcomes for patients.

Key accountabilities

Lifecycle and future planning
  • Lead competitive readiness efforts around emerging threats, monitoring the fast-evolving landscape across indications and translating developments into actionable commercial implications.
  • Play a key role in developing cross-functional lifecycle strategies to maximize the brand's value throughout its lifecycle and prepare for the transition to post-exclusivity competition.
  • Develop key strategic presentations for leadership


Above-indication strategy and brand evolution
  • Drive key elements of the above-indication Brand Strategy Plan, developing strategic content and building alignment across a broad cross-functional network (Market Access, Medical, Diagnostics, regional leads).
  • Ensure seamless execution of key cross-indication initiatives and asset delivery
  • Shape the evolution of the brand positioning and narrative, to solidify leadership in a rapidly evolving oncology landscape.


Market and external expert engagement
  • Design and implement an innovative market engagement model, leveraging new technologies to enable ongoing dialogue with markets and accelerate the sharing and adoption of best practices across countries.
  • Optimize engagement with key external experts across indications, ensuring insights are systematically captured, synthesized, and translated into commercial priorities and actions.


Essential skills and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably in a scientific or business discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry across brand marketing, sales, market research or analytics, strategic planning, or related commercial roles.
  • Strong marketing experience, including brand strategy, positioning, messaging, segmentation, targeting, agency management and annual planning.
  • Experience in oncology marketing, with global launch or lifecycle management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific and market information into clear commercial implications and action.
  • Strong project leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead without authority and influence across functions, markets and teams.
  • Strong clinical acumen, scientific curiosity and commercial judgement.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, comfort with ambiguity and a track record of improving ways of working.


Desirable skills and experience
  • Prior oncology marketing experience, ideally in breast cancer or another solid tumor setting.
  • Experience working across global, regional and local market teams.
  • Experience across personal, non-personal, digital and patient-focused channels.
  • Sales or customer-facing experience.
  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field
  • Experience working in a commercial alliance/partnership environment


The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $ 180,656.80 - $270,985.20 USD Annual. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives-an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
