Position Overview:Finning Canada is looking to hire a permanent, fulltime Global Fin-Tech Administrator who will provide expert oversight of financial models, data, security, and system processes within the Financial Planning & Consolidations platform. Working closely with the BPC FinTech team, CFPM & Controller teams, IT, and other key stakeholders, this role leads the execution of critical financial cycles including month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining mid- to high-complexity system objects (reports, input schedules, and logic), ensuring system integrity, performance, and scalability. The Global FinTech Administrator plays a key leadership role in managing monthly processes, guiding team members, and providing visibility to leadership on progress, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

• For this position, the expected salary range is between $105,000 and $125,000 annually. This range reflects our commitment to providing competitive compensation that aligns with industry standards and your qualifications.
Job Description:Key Responsibilities- Continuously enhance the Financial Planning & Consolidations system by improving performance, increasing automation, and reducing manual effort.
- Design, build, and maintain medium- to high-complexity technical objects (e.g., script logic, templates, reports, models, and business rules), including documentation, testing, and user support.
- Lead the execution and validation of system processes supporting financial close, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting cycles.
- Monitor and ensure data integrity through robust validation processes across all system activities.
- Enforce data governance standards and proactively identify risks or opportunities to prevent data or system issues.
- Support decision-making related to system improvements and data management within established governance frameworks.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to FinTech team members to strengthen technical capabilities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize processes and ensure alignment with business needs.
Qualifications & Experience- University degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance & Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional accounting designation is an asset.
- 5+ years of system administration experience, ideally supporting financial consolidation or planning processes.
- Strong experience with financial systems such as SAP BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), OneStream, and/or Microsoft technologies.
- Advanced to expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and financial close processes (10+ years preferred).
- Experience working on large-scale system implementations or transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience supporting or driving large-scale change initiatives.
- Proficiency with business tools such as Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
