Responsibilities - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Site Reliability Engineering, Third-Party Data Centers) on network architecture and provide valuable feedback on the physical data center environment.
- Be a globally recognized technical leader and subject matter expert on data center networking infrastructure with knowledge of data center processes, infrastructure, design, construction, and safety.
- Develop a unified global network program process and prioritization to create agility to accommodate shift-left priority to enable an engaged advantage for Google.
- Ensure GSO is an asset across all Google-required network infrastructure, focusing on network capacity in support of the end customer.
- Enable network capability and acceleration in support of ML (Net GT, MLNDA, Vermilion, etc.) and next gen network deployment and maintenance.
