  • Experience in commodity management or sourcing with data center rack power conversion or power back-up solutions, including agreement negotiations, pricing negotiations, assurance of supply, capacity planning and supplier development.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a technical or engineering field or MBA.
  • 7 years of experience in end-to-end rack power conversion or power back-up solutions, manufacturing and supply chain processes, and strategic business planning and execution.
  • Experience with data center and rack power commodities.
  • Experience with new and evolving power technologies in the data center space.
  • Experience with rack power conversion or power back-up manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects and suppliers, negotiating a variety of contracts and agreements, from statements of work to master supply agreements, to secure favorable pricing and terms and ensure supply assurance at scale.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the supplier selection process for new platforms and partner with key stakeholders to develop and execute strategies that balance innovation, time-to-market, cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Oversee the operational aspects of the supply chain, including schedules, capacity, and supply chain flexibility, while communicating status and risks to management, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Mitigate supply chain risks and measure partner performance through regular business reviews to ensure quality and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a high level of industry expertise, keeping current on supplier and market conditions to inform sourcing strategies and negotiations.
