Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.
- Experience in commodity management or sourcing within the optical transceivers or transmission category, including agreement negotiation and supplier development.
Preferred qualifications:- Master's degree in a technical or engineering field or MBA.
- 7 years of experience in optics manufacturing and optical supply chain processes, and strategic business planning and execution.
- Experience with data center, networking and optics commodities.
- Experience with spreadsheet software, SQL, and scripting.
- Experience with new and evolving optics technologies in the data center space.
- Experience with optical transceiver manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities - Manage multiple projects and suppliers, negotiating a variety of contracts and agreements, from statements of work to master supply agreements, to secure favorable pricing and terms and ensure supply assurance at scale.
- Lead cross-functional teams through the supplier selection process for new platforms and partner with key stakeholders to develop and execute strategies that balance innovation, time-to-market, cost, quality, and delivery.
- Oversee the operational aspects of the supply chain, including managing schedules, capacity, and supply chain flexibility. Communicate status and risks to management, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Mitigate supply chain risks and measure partner performance through regular business reviews to ensure quality and continuous improvement.
- Maintain a high level of industry expertise, keeping current on supplier and market conditions to inform sourcing strategies and negotiations.
