Your role
Are you an experienced capital markets professional with a strong understanding of equity issuance and syndication? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working across multiple stakeholders to deliver successful transactions?
We're looking for somebody to join our ECM team to:
• Lead execution of equity and equity-linked transactions including IPOs, follow-ons, accelerated bookbuilds, block trades, convertibles and other capital markets offerings.
• Act as a member of the ECM Syndicate Desk, coordinating syndicate activities throughout the lifecycle of a transaction.
• Manage bookbuilding processes, investor demand analysis, pricing discussions and allocation recommendations.
• Provide real-time market intelligence and investor feedback to ECM bankers and coverage teams.
• Partner with Sales, Trading, Research, Legal, Compliance, Operations and Banking teams to ensure efficient transaction execution.
• Support transaction approval processes and oversee documentation requirements associated with ECM transactions.
• Maintain a strong understanding of market dynamics, investor behavior and competitive developments across equity capital markets.
• Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies and supervisory procedures.
• Contribute to the development and mentoring of junior team members and help drive the continued growth of the ECM franchise
Your team
You will be part of the Equity Capital Markets Syndicate team within Global Banking. The team is responsible for managing the syndication, marketing, bookbuilding, allocation and execution process for equity and equity-linked transactions. Working closely with investment bankers, institutional investors and internal stakeholders, the team plays a critical role in delivering capital solutions to corporate and financial sponsor clients.
Your expertise
• Significant experience within Equity Capital Markets, Syndicate, Investment Banking or Capital Markets.
• Strong understanding of IPOs, follow-on offerings, block trades, convertibles and equity-linked products.
• Proven track record managing complex transactions from launch through pricing and allocation.
• Deep knowledge of bookbuilding, investor marketing and distribution processes.
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to assess market conditions and investor demand.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while managing multiple live transactions simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail, risk awareness and commitment to regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to mentor junior professionals.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree and applicable securities registrations preferred.

Salary information
The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - New York - New York USD 275000 /annum
