Full Job Description
Global Alliance Sales & GTM Lead

The Global Partner Excellence Lead translates Avanade's Partner-Led Growth strategy into a disciplined, measurable operating model. As Avanade brings its Microsoft Alliance, Strategic ISV Ecosystem, CSP & Resell, and Partner Growth Platform together into one Microsoft-centered ecosystem, this role owns the common planning, governance, performance, and accountability system that enables the organization to operate as one integrated growth engine.

The role establishes consistent standards for business planning, joint go-to-market commitments, scorecards, executive governance, and dependency management. It provides leaders with a consolidated view of priorities, milestones, performance, risks, and commitments while driving clear ownership and disciplined follow-through across partners and pillars.

Operating through influence across a global, matrixed organization, the Global Partner Excellence Lead creates the discipline and cross-pillar coordination required to make Partner-Led Growth repeatable, scalable, and accountable for business outcomes.

What you'll do

As the Global Partner Excellence Lead, you will own the planning, governance, and performance framework that enables consistent execution across Avanade's partner ecosystem.

Integrated Business Planning
  • Define and maintain a common business planning framework across Microsoft Alliance, Strategic ISVs, CSP & Resell, and Partner Growth Platform teams.
  • Lead an always-on planning cadence that aligns partner commitments, Avanade priorities, go-to-market motions, and fiscal year objectives.
  • Consolidate plans into a single integrated portfolio view for executive leadership.
  • Maintain a single source of truth for initiatives, commitments, milestones, dependencies, owners, and progress tracking.

Performance Management & Business Impact
  • Establish and manage a unified Partner-Led Growth scorecard across the global portfolio.
  • Define reporting, measurement, and data quality standards to ensure consistent performance visibility.
  • Deliver executive-ready insights on portfolio performance, business impact, risks, and opportunities.
  • Leverage automation, analytics, and agentic capabilities to identify trends, execution gaps, and intervention opportunities.
  • Monitor activation milestones and facilitate corrective actions when performance deviates from plan.

Portfolio Activation & Go-to-Market Coordination
  • Maintain visibility into strategic go-to-market priorities, campaigns, partner commitments, and key initiatives.
  • Identify dependencies, synergies, and opportunities for coordination across partner pillars.
  • Ensure initiatives have clear ownership, measurable outcomes, and executive visibility.

Cross-Partner Governance & Operating Rhythm
  • Design and manage the governance framework and rhythm of business across the Partner Ecosystem & Alliances organization.
  • Coordinate executive governance forums with Microsoft and priority strategic partners.
  • Establish standards for business reviews, executive briefings, decision-making processes, and accountability mechanisms.
  • Maintain decision rights, escalation paths, and RACI models across stakeholder groups.

Strategic Support to Leadership
  • Support the Global Partner Ecosystem & Alliances Lead through executive communications, prioritization, decision support, and follow-through on strategic commitments.
  • Prepare leadership materials and portfolio updates for executive forums and senior stakeholder reviews.
  • Represent leadership on governance, operating model, and strategic planning matters as needed.

Ecosystem Coordination & Organizational Alignment
  • Drive collaboration across global and regional alliance leaders to create a consistent operating model.
  • Surface risks, conflicts, dependencies, and opportunities early to protect execution.
  • Foster adoption of common processes and governance standards across teams.

Partnership with the Partner Growth Platform
  • Collaborate closely with the Partner Growth Platform team to ensure shared infrastructure, tools, processes, and performance management standards.
  • Maintain clear accountability between Partner Excellence and operational enablement functions.
  • Enable scalable growth through integrated planning, governance, and execution disciplines.
