Commercial Glazing Project Manager Location: Colorado Job Type: Full-Time An established commercial glazing and architectural aluminum contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its team in Colorado. The company specializes in the design, fabrication, and installation of commercial glazing, architectural aluminum, and building-envelope systems for general contractors, developers, architects, and commercial owners. The Project Manager will take ownership of projects from contract award through final completion, coordinating all aspects of project execution including budgets, schedules, procurement, submittals, fabrication, field installation, change orders, and closeout. This is a hands-on role for an organized and commercially minded construction professional who understands the technical requirements of commercial glazing and can effectively coordinate multiple stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Manage commercial glazing and architectural aluminum projects from contract award through completion. Review contracts, architectural drawings, specifications, scopes, and project requirements. Take ownership of project budgets, schedules, costs, and overall financial performance. Coordinate with General Contractors, architects, engineers, owners, suppliers, subcontractors, and field installation teams. Manage shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, material procurement, approvals, and project documentation. Coordinate fabrication, material deliveries, site logistics, and installation schedules. Work closely with field Superintendents and Foremen to resolve technical and logistical issues. Monitor project progress and proactively address potential schedule, cost, and scope issues. Identify and manage change orders, additional scope, and project risks. Attend project meetings and maintain clear communication with customers and project stakeholders. Coordinate closely with estimating during project handoff to ensure scope, pricing, and project expectations are clearly understood. Maintain accurate project forecasts, cost reports, and documentation. Manage punch lists, closeout, warranties, final documentation, and billing. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, General Contractors, vendors, and industry partners. Requirements 3+ years of commercial glazing, architectural aluminum, curtain wall, or building-envelope project management experience preferred. Strong understanding of commercial glazing and aluminum systems, including curtain wall, storefront, entrances, windows, and architectural glass. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, contracts, and shop drawings. Experience managing commercial construction projects from award through completion. Strong understanding of project budgets, scheduling, procurement, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Excellent communication, organization, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines. Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.
