Senior Commercial Glazing Project Manager Location: West Palm Beach, FL Job Type: Full-Time A highly regarded specialty contractor in South Florida is seeking an experienced Commercial Glazing Project Manager to join its team in West Palm Beach. The company delivers high-quality architectural glass, glazing, window, and building-envelope solutions across commercial, institutional, hospitality, and high-end construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven glazing professional who can take complete ownership of projects from contract award through final completion. The Project Manager will serve as a key point of contact for general contractors, owners, architects, vendors, and field teams while managing project financials, scheduling, procurement, submittals, fabrication, installation, and closeout. Key Responsibilities Manage commercial glazing and window projects from contract award through successful completion. Take ownership of project budgets, schedules, costs, margins, and overall financial performance. Review contracts, architectural drawings, specifications, scopes, and project requirements. Coordinate closely with general contractors, architects, engineers, owners, suppliers, and subcontractors. Manage shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, approvals, change orders, and project documentation. Oversee procurement of glass, aluminum, hardware, windows, storefront, curtain wall, and other project materials. Coordinate fabrication, delivery, and installation schedules to ensure projects remain on track. Work closely with field superintendents and installation crews to resolve technical and logistical issues. Identify scope gaps, potential delays, cost exposures, and change-order opportunities. Attend project meetings and provide clear, professional communication to clients and project stakeholders. Maintain accurate project forecasts and monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate project handoff from estimating through installation and closeout. Manage punch lists, final inspections, warranties, closeout documentation, and final billing. Develop and maintain strong relationships with repeat customers, general contractors, and industry partners. Requirements 5+ years of commercial glazing, architectural glass, windows, or building-envelope project management experience preferred. Strong technical knowledge of commercial glazing systems, including curtain wall, storefront, window wall, entrances, windows, and architectural glass. Experience managing projects from contract award through closeout. Strong understanding of construction contracts, project financials, scheduling, procurement, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and construction documents. Experience working directly with general contractors, architects, owners, and subcontractors. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify scope, cost, and schedule issues before they become problems. Excellent communication, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and modern construction/project management platforms. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
