Job Description:

This job is responsible for leading the strategy, governance, coordination, and continuous improvement of GIS learning and development programs in partnership with the Academy and other key stakeholders. The role serves as the primary liaison between GIS and the Global Technology Academy, translating business priorities into scalable learning and workforce development solutions, including training initiatives, capability-building programs, leadership development, technical learning pathways, and regulatory training requirements.

Key responsibilities include developing and managing learning strategies that enhance workforce readiness, support evolving business and cybersecurity priorities, and ensure associates have the skills needed to succeed in a rapidly changing environment. The role partners with GIS leaders, HR, and Global Technology Academy Partners to evaluate learning needs, delivery approaches, and solution options, including enterprise offerings, external providers, and internally developed programs where appropriate. The collective goal of this role and its partners is to deliver impactful learning experiences and measure organizational effectiveness through training outcomes and workforce capability metrics.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the GIS Learning & Development strategy aligned to business priorities, workforce plans, and future skill needs.
• Establish governance, metrics, reporting, and oversight for learning performance, certifications, and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to mandatory, regulatory, and enterprise-required training programs.
• Partner with GIS leaders, the Academy, and enterprise stakeholders to define learning priorities and capability-building strategies.
• Drive workforce development across cybersecurity, technology, leadership, and professional skills.
• Oversee learning roadmaps, onboarding, career development, and succession planning programs.
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of learning initiatives, from needs assessment through implementation and measurement.
• Analyze workforce capabilities and learning outcomes to identify skill gaps and improve organizational readiness.
• Manage relationships with learning partners, vendors, and educational institutions.
• Provide executive reporting and insights while fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications:
• Experience operating in a highly matrixed, fast-paced enterprise environment with shifting priorities and ambiguity.
• Knowledge of talent development, leadership development, workforce planning, and enterprise capability-building practices.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity, technology, risk, or operational organizations.
• Ability to align learning and development strategies with business objectives and future-state operating models.
• Proven ability to develop strategy and drive execution from concept through delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to build consensus and influence without direct authority.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and active listening skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences and drive buy-in.
• Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS), workforce capability assessments, and training analytics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), including data analysis, reporting, and executive-level presentations.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and deliver with minimal direction.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and issue-resolution skills, including effective escalation management when needed.
• Solutions-focused, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to navigate change and evolving business needs.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and improve individual and team performance in a customer-centric environment.
• Experience identifying skill gaps, diagnosing root causes, and implementing effective development and performance improvement plans.
• Understanding of risk identification, mitigation, and reinforcement of a strong risk culture.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building relationships, fostering trust, and driving successful outcomes across stakeholders.
• Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
