Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering (MSCE) with 3-5 years of geotechnical experience required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one within six months is essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary.
• Solid understanding of math and science relevant to engineering projects.
• Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform project work and support project manager's efforts.
• Organize field and lab work while conducting engineering analyses as instructed.
• Drive company vehicles to and from work sites as needed.
• Draft boring logs from field and laboratory data; review logs from colleagues.
• Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports, including charts and appendices.
• Review reports prepared by others and address review feedback.
• Ensure reports are complete and accurate before client submission.
• Oversee project budgets to ensure financial goals are met and maintain quality standards.
• Strive to enhance client satisfaction through project execution.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of the team.
