***This role is contingent upon award*** As a Geospatial Developer supporting our Federal government client, you will be trusted to design and develop geospatial applications and spatial data systems that support planning and expansion of nationwide communications network. In this role, you will build scalable GIS tools and spatial workflows that enable teams to analyze coverage gaps, evaluate infrastructure needs, and guide investment and planning decisions. You will work closely with engineering, data, and program teams to ensure geospatial data and applications are reliable, accessible, and capable of supporting large-scale operational and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): - Develop, maintain, and update ArcGIS Online (AGOL) dashboards, map services, web layers, and reporting tools to support data visualization for coverage reinvestment activities
- Manage, process, and analyze large ArcGIS datasets, including scripts, automation, and advanced geoprocessing tools, to import, export, and organize data while ensuring integrity, consistency, and adherence to geospatial data standards
- Perform advanced geospatial analysis, including suitability modeling, geospatial overlays, multi-criteria assessments, and nationwide spatial evaluations, to identify optimal AOI candidate locations
- Integrate crowdsourced datasets, RAN-derived inputs, and third-party GIS sources to generate insights that guide AOI identification, prioritization, and investment justification
- Produce technically accurate maps, layers, models, and documentation packages, including attribute tables and dashboards, to support engineering, business, and investment decision-making
- Develop, validate, and refine data processing workflows to solve complex geospatial data challenges, ensuring data integrity, repeatability, and auditability, including routine validation and quality checks on GIS datasets
- Support development and maintenance of geospatial standards, quality controls, and version-controlled geodatabase structures consistent with client analytic expectations
- Provide expert recommendations and hands-on geospatial workflow support, including model runs, data preparation, and version control, to program leadership, engineering SMEs, and investment teams
- Maintain repository structures, file catalogs, and AGOL content, and support geospatial documentation needs (SOPs, workflow diagrams, supporting materials) for efficient retrieval and use across engineering, business, and program teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the First Responder Impact Model (FRIM) and related spatial tools by validating assumptions, reviewing inputs, and identifying improvements to strengthen investment analytics
- Carry out our Commitments to Deliver, Grow, and Thrive.
