Full Job Description
Snapshot of Your Day:
We are looking for a Generator Operations Manager in Orlando, FL to develop and optimize processes to improve safety, quality, and schedule of generator outages.

How You'll Make an Impact:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, reviews field service procedures and tool improvement, and monitor outage progress.
  • Maintain standard schedules, labor models, cost models, and generic tool lists.
  • Update standard project schedules, reviews cost reports, conduct team meetings, and analyze standard labor utilization.
  • Write new procedures, and work packages, and develop new tooling as the need arises.
  • Develop work packages for special projects, oversees tooling assessment and approval, and drafts and reviews new standard service procedures.
  • Monitor outage load planning and tool allocation, monitor tool load distribution, assess tool availability, document and report progress, and review outage schedules with the districts.
  • Manage special programs to implement fleet wide solutions.
  • Analyze fleet performance data, coordinates cross-functional collaboration, and develop implementation plans to create field documentation for new frames.
  • Develop training material and teach classes as needed.
  • Create training materials, schedule and organize training sessions, and evaluate training effectiveness.
  • 40% domestic/ international travel required.
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience.
  • Full term of experience must include: project management in the Gas & Power industry with technical product knowledge of generators;
  • Knowledge of equipment heavy rigging;
  • Generator disassembly and reassembly; and
  • MS Office.
  • 40% domestic/ international travel required.
