Qualifications

• High School diploma with five years of professional experience; college degree preferred.
• Fitness industry experience preferred but not required.
• Promotionally-oriented with sales direction capabilities.
• Strong customer service orientation with proven results.
• Understanding of performance metrics like P&L, revenue, budgeting, and facilities maintenance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with participative leadership style and drive for excellence.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in business or related field with two years of management experience preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the gym's operational budget.
• Oversee the sales process and systems within the facility.
• Evaluate performance of all gym-related managers.
• Coordinate the hiring, training, and scheduling of gym staff.
• Train and mentor subordinate staff members.
• Delegate and monitor sales team responsibilities through the Sales Manager.
• Manage disciplinary actions involving all gym-level employees.
• Ensure highest level of customer service in a high-volume environment.
• Make effective decisions on customer service issues.
• Plan and promote monthly special events for the gym.
• Ensure facility cleanliness and operational soundness.
