Position Title: General Manager
The General Manager plays a pivotal role in leading operations within a dynamic environment. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will navigate the complexities of a growing unionized workforce while ensuring operational excellence.
The General Manager will oversee all operational aspects of the business, including field operations, project execution, business development and team leadership. This individual will work closely with ownership to drive profitability, strengthen client relationships and support the company's continued expansion. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the electrical contracting industry and has a proven track record of growing organizations.
Salary Range: $165,000 - $185,000 / Year DOE
General Manager Responsibilities: - Oversee daily operations and ensure alignment with strategic goals
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with large commercial contractors
- Facilitate the transition to a unionized environment
- Ensure service continuity for essential clients, particularly in high-stakes situations
- Support project management and estimating processes as needed
- Manage hybrid project-based work and long-term contracts
- Lead team development and training initiatives
General Manager Requirements: - Electrical experience is required
- Union experience is required
- Minimum Journeyman license holder
- ProCore or equivalent experience is required
- Accubid or a similar system is required
- 7+ years of experience
- Master Electrician test is preferred
- BA Degree or trades experience is preferred
