Job Title: Certinia PSA Consultant - Enterprise Salesforce - Vacant Role
The role of the PSA Consultant is to execute the technical implementation of Certinia PSA solutions designed by the PSA Solution Architect. The PSA Consultant will work closely with the Solution Architect, Product Owners, Salesforce Consultants, and Client Stakeholders to build, configure, and deliver high-quality PSA solutions that meet business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Translate Architect-designed solution blueprints into fully functional Certinia PSA configurations and customizations.
- Configure and maintain core PSA modules including Projects, Resource Management, Schedules, Timecards, Expenses, Project Billing, and Budgets.
- Build Salesforce platform components including custom objects, custom fields, formulas, workflows, flows, page layouts, validation rules, assignment rules, and permission sets.
- Develop Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce pages to extend Certinia PSA functionality (as needed)
- Support integration development between Certinia PSA and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and Force.com integration patterns.
- Assist with data migration activities including data mapping, transformation logic, and load execution using tools such as Data Loader or Salesforce DX.
- Conduct unit testing, support UAT, and troubleshoot defects across PSA configuration and custom development.
- Follow Salesforce and Certinia development best practices including version control, code review standards, and sandbox/deployment governance.
- Collaborate with the Architect on effort estimation and flag technical risks during project planning and sprint execution.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including configuration specs, data flow diagrams, unit test plans, and deployment runbooks.
- Provide post-go-live support and assist in training end users on configured solutions.
PSA Required Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- Hands-on experience implementing and configuring Certinia PSA (FinancialForce PSA) on the Salesforce platform.
- Proficiency in Salesforce platform development and Salesforce Flows.
- Experience working from Architect-provided solution designs and translating them into technical deliverables.
- Experience with Force.com integration patterns and tools.
- Familiarity with sandbox management, change sets, and Salesforce DX deployment pipelines.
PSA Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of the Salesforce platform.
- Salesforce System Admin Certification and Platform Developer certification
- 2-4 years of experience as a Salesforce Technical Consultant, with at least 1-2 years on Certinia PSA implementations.
- Strong working knowledge of PSA core modules - Project Management, Resource Scheduling, Time & Expense, Project Billing, and Revenue Recognition within Certinia PSA.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles as they apply to PSA billing cycles and project revenue recognition.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models and sprint-based development cycles.
- Experience creating technical documentation including unit test plans, deployment guides, and developer handoff notes.
- Comfortable participating in client-facing discussions under the guidance of the Solution Architect

Hybrid/In office: We are hybrid but there are expectations that if your team leader or client requires you onsite that you are able to meet those expectations/requirements
Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the expected base salary pay range is $130,000 to $162,000.
In addition, there is potential for a 12% discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation will depend upon individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
