Job Description

Slalom's Pacific Southwest market is seeking an experienced Senior Director, Client Partner to help grow our Retail & Consumer Goods portfolio across Southern California. This leader will serve as a trusted advisor to retail executives while helping clients navigate growth, customer experience transformation, omnichannel commerce, supply chain modernization, AI adoption, and enterprise technology transformation.

The Senior Director, Client Partner will own and expand strategic client relationships, drive revenue growth, lead complex consulting engagements, and partner closely with capability leaders to deliver measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Do
  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic Retail & Consumer Goods accounts.
  • Build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior business leaders across merchandising, digital, operations, marketing, supply chain, data, and technology functions.
  • Develop and execute account strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and long-term client value.
  • Lead sales pursuits from opportunity shaping through proposal development, contract negotiation, and close.
  • Identify opportunities to bring Slalom's full suite of capabilities to clients, including:
    • AI & Data
    • Customer Experience
    • Digital Commerce
    • Modern Workplace
    • Cloud
    • Product Engineering
    • Supply Chain & Operations Transformation
  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure exceptional client outcomes and delivery excellence.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft, Salesforce, Adobe, AWS, Google and other ecosystem partners to accelerate client impact.
  • Serve as a visible market leader by building relationships across the Retail & Consumer Goods community and representing Slalom at industry events.
  • Build and mentor high-performing account teams while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth.


What You'll Bring
  • 12+ years of consulting, professional services, or industry leadership experience.
  • Experience owning and growing large enterprise accounts within Retail, Consumer Products, eCommerce, Specialty Retail, Grocery, Luxury, Apparel, or adjacent sectors.
  • Proven success selling and delivering business and technology transformation initiatives.
  • Existing executive relationships within the Southern California retail ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow revenue through account expansion, new logo acquisition, and strategic client development.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience leading complex consulting engagements and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with retail industry priorities such as:
    • Omnichannel customer experience
    • Digital commerce
    • Loyalty and personalization
    • Store modernization
    • Supply chain transformation
    • Data & AI
    • Workforce enablement

For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for Senior Director is is $203,000 to $304,500. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
