Who You Are

You are an expert in the intersection of Healthcare business operations and technology, enthusiastic about solving real problems for the people who serve patients, members, and the people who make the healthcare ecosystem operate.

What You'll Do

This role connects region and country-wide Healthcare Capability strategy with market needs, acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and thought leader at internal and external events, and collaborates with industry partners to identify opportunities. Accountable for the GTM focus to drive partner- and internally-originated sales and pursuits, overseeing solution design in the proposal and delivery process, and channel partnership on account management. This role actively contributes to successful project delivery in a billable leadership capacity, supporting recruitment, and practice operations, including:

Capability Vision & Strategy
  • Works with the Healthcare Capability leader and regional and market leaders to bring the Vision of our Enterprise Capability to life, driving connection between our markets and regions to global industry technology strategy.
  • Connects and drives region or country-wide Capability strategy to the Market based on client portfolio and client challenges, developing and activating a GTM strategy that leads with the solution to a business problem rather than a specific technology platform.
  • Works with other Enterprise Business Applications leaders to develop, socialize and drive joint capability solutions targeted at specific and actionable business challenges in Healthcare.
  • Develops intentional cross-capability relationships, bringing together diverse Slalom capability teams to address client business challenges with an outcomes-first, not product-first, mindset.

GTM Approach
  • Owns the approach and execution to evangelize, educate and enable the Slalom sales function in markets and regions.
  • Builds and develops relationships with Account, Industry, and regional GTM teams to drive account planning, channel strategy, and joint pursuits.
  • Develops leading practices for GTM activities and channel partnership, in collaboration with the practice leader and partner sales manager.
  • Partners with Capability and Industry leaders and other Enterprise Capability leaders to define and develop reusable collateral for sales accelerators, developing scalable GTM motions that beyond rote content creation.
  • Works to proactively generate demand for the Enterprise Healthcare Capability by activating scalable GTM motions, collaborating with communities of practice and facilitating external GTM activities such as webinars, conferences, and partner QBRs.
  • Identifies and works with Alliances, Marketing and Operations to plan thought leadership events.
  • Maintains awareness of industry leading practices and business levers for Enterprise Business Applications offerings.
  • Provides insights to the Healthcare Capability team on client themes, common questions, and trends.

Channel Partnership

  • Develops, nurtures, and maintains partnerships with channel partner sales, strategy, and GTM leaders, building a symbiotic and mutually-valuable relationship that generates opportunities for both parties.
  • Supports channel sales events, such as QBRs and team presentations, building awareness of Slalom's brand and bringing packaged offering and points of view to the partner field teams who can activate them.
  • Aligns Slalom GTM strategy with partner GTM strategy, bringing structure to how Slalom-owned content and strategy map to how our partners activate their sales teams and customers.

Business Development & Sales
  • Drives sales velocity and individual opportunity sales, with joint responsibility for the Enterprise Applications Healthcare target sales number annually.
  • Partners with client partners, sales executives, alliances, and SMEs to identify opportunities.
  • Actively participates in and drives business problem solutioning activities such as RFIs, RFPs, workshops, and POCs, leading cross-functional teams to develop a comprehensive solution proposal that focuses on client outcomes.
  • Focuses on specific customers and industry business outcomes, driving targeted sales motions with outcome-based selling.
  • Drives business development and complex deals, cultivating relationships within Slalom and channel partners.
  • Proactively seeks speaking opportunities to generate net-new business through thought leadership.

Delivery
  • Providing engagement oversight and Subject Matter Expertise to Enterprise Healthcare projects to ensure delivery quality.
  • Contribute to delivery through billable roles with a utilization target of 45%.

Practice Operations
  • Advise leadership on capability gaps and partner on targeted hiring strategies.
  • Acts as mentor to practitioners across the team.
  • Participates in performance management by providing feedback.
  • Partners with practice leadership to create and contribute to capability-specific growth and cost projections.
  • Supports monitoring of sales and revenue forecasts and overall capability health.

  • Platform/Solution Knowledge - Deep understanding of key Enterprise Application (e.g. Salesforce, ServiceNow, Adobe) capabilities and architecture and how they relate to Healthcare, with active certifications or the ability to obtain.
  • Consulting Delivery - Proven track record delivering Healthcare platform solutions.

Additional

Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. This role will require time in a Slalom office, at client sites, and remote work in a hybrid environment.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges:

East Bay, San Francisco, Silicon Valley:

Director: $192,000-$307,000

San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, Seattle, Boston, Houston, New Jersey, New York City, Washington DC, Westchester:

Director: $175,000-$281,000

All other locations:

Director: $161,000-$258,000

In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
