Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team, promoting innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Architect enterprise-grade, scalable, and secure AI platforms on Microsoft Azure, integrating large language models, agent-based systems, and Power Platform solutions.
- Design and implement multi-tenant SaaS architectures, ensuring data isolation, security, and cost optimization.
- Develop and manage robust, full-stack applications using Python, React, TypeScript, and modern backend frameworks.
- Integrate advanced GenAI systems, including LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and custom agents using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or Semantic Kernel.
- Oversee model lifecycle operations, including fine-tuning, retraining, evaluation, and governance using Azure AI, OpenAI Service, and industry-standard MLOps practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enable rapid development with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and ensure seamless integration with Azure services.
- Lead the design of robust data pipelines and ensure data quality and compliance with Responsible AI standards.
- Optimize compute resources, implement auto-scaling, and champion security, compliance, and operational reliability.
Required Skills and Experience
- 10+ years in AI/ML engineering, with 5+ years leading high-performing teams and managing offshore delivery.
- Deep expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, agent-based systems, and multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
- Proven hands-on experience building and deploying enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong proficiency with Python, AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras), and full stack development (React, TypeScript, FastAPI/Flask).
- Demonstrated experience in RAG workflows, vector databases (Azure AI Search), and orchestration frameworks (LangChain, Semantic Kernel).
- Solid foundation in microservices, APIs, event-driven design, and CI/CD best practices.
- Strong knowledge of security, compliance, and cloud governance standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban environments.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Azure AI Studio, Hugging Face, Tinker AI, or MosaicML for LLM adaptation and fine-tuning.
- Knowledge of parameter-efficient tuning (LoRA, PEFT, QLoRA) and modern prompt engineering.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, and the Power Platform ecosystem.
- Multi-tenant SaaS and API Gateway integration expertise.
