Key Responsibilities
• Lead discovery workshops with application owners, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
• Evaluate statefulness, data persistence, compute and data separation, deployment architecture, hosting models, and application dependencies.
• Assess compatibility with Managed Instance Groups, golden images, automated self-healing, and snapshot-based recovery.
• Review installer and upgrade behavior, data locations, licensing constraints, certificates, secrets, backup approaches, recovery procedures, and support models.
• Develop current-state findings, target-state GCP recommendations, migration pathways, risks, and remediation actions.
• Present technical findings and executive-level recommendations to stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted advisor with strong ownership and accountability.
• Facilitate clear and structured discussions with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Translate operational and business requirements into practical GCP-native architecture recommendations.
• Navigate legacy environments and incomplete information while maintaining progress toward project objectives.
• Balance modernization goals with application constraints, vendor support, risk, and operational realities.
• Work independently while collaborating closely with project, practice, client, and partner teams.
