Under broad supervision, analyzes customer business needsand participates in the planning, design and implementation of new or enhancedsystems. May act as a team or project leader.
Entry Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years in a related supervisory position OR Associate's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Three years of related experience, Two years of which in a related supervisory position OR Two years of experience at the lower-level IT Enterprise Busi Analyst 2 (ITP181) or position equivalent.
Responsibilities: - Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration and support of HL7 standards.
- Manage and maintain EHR and practice management systems, ensuring they are functioning optimally and securely.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clinical staff, technical staff, program staff, administrators, and developers, to gather and document business requirements for the EHR system.
- Provide ongoing support for the EHR system, including managing updates, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data accuracy and security compliant with HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with developers and administrators to resolve technical issues and enhance platform performance.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
- Provide technical support to end-users, by interfacing with vendor Support Teams to address issues related to software promptly.
- Assist trainers with training programs for clinic staff to ensure efficient use of the EHR system.
- Analyze clinical workflows and processes to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement within the EHR system.
- Generate and analyze reports to support clinical and administrative decision-making.
- Provide advanced Windows troubleshooting and support for our software and cloud platform.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to understand their issues and provide timely solutions.
- Compose clear and detailed JIRA tickets for developers and administrators.
- Ensure the security of IT systems and data, adhering to best practices and company policies.
- Utilize available tools like REST APIs, Postman, and Swagger for testing and documentation purposes.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
EXPERIENCE - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience supporting EHR and Practice Management systems in a medical clinic or similar healthcare setting.
- Proven experience in system implementation, configuration, and support.
EDUCATION: - Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field OR Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Hospital IT or equally complex systems
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HL7 and IT security best practices is preferred.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and supporting software applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Availability to work on-call or during off-hours as needed to support hospital IT operations.

- Experience with networking, including installation, configuration, and management of networks is preferred.
