Description

The Functional Analyst will analyze, document, and support the implementation of functional requirements for Federal Government enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience bridging business needs with technical solutions. As a valued member of the SFI team, you will play a critical role in delivering mission-critical capabilities to our Federal Government customers.

Work Location: On-site, Arlington, VA

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and document functional requirements for enterprise system implementations and enhancements.
  • Facilitate requirements for workshops and stakeholder interviews to elicit and validate functional needs.
  • Develop functional specifications, process flows, and use cases for system development and configuration.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure functional requirements are accurately implemented.
  • Support system testing activities, including developing test cases, executing tests, and validating results.
  • Analyze functional gaps between current-state systems and desired future-state capabilities.
  • Produce functional documentation, including requirements traceability matrices and functional design documents.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3 years of functional analysis, 1 year of domain expertise.
  • Demonstrated expertise in: Functional requirements, process analysis, user acceptance testing, domain knowledge, and documentation.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must possess an active Secret security clearance or be able to obtain one.

Desired Skills:
  • IIBA CBAP or equivalent business/functional analysis certification.
  • Experience performing functional analysis for ERP implementations (PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with Agile user story writing and acceptance criteria development.
  • Experience supporting functional analysis within DoD or federal agency programs.

  • Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Work Environment: On-site as required by the contract.
  • This is a full-time, W2 position.
