Full Job Description
Peoples Rx is looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join our South Lamar team.

What You'll Do
  • Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently while maintaining patient safety and regulatory compliance
  • Counsel patients on medications, proper use, adherence, and potential concerns
  • Provide knowledgeable, compassionate patient and customer service
  • Collaborate with prescribers, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Support continued improvement of pharmacy services

What We're Looking For
  • Current Texas Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Previous pharmacist experience; independent or community pharmacy experience preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a busy pharmacy team
  • Schedule flexibility, including rotating Saturdays

Experience with compounding, immunizations, precepting, nutritional supplements, or integrative wellness is a plus, but not required.
