Full Job Description
This Full Stack Software Development Engineer will work closely with the Product team to design, develop, and code for the Blue Rabbit products (a veterinary web application allowing veterinarians to submit prescriptions to Wedgewood), and other Wedgewood applications. Emphasis is on true full-stack development , including frontend and API development, with an emphasis on integration with downstream applications.

The Basics

Location: Preference is to be by one of our offices in Swedesboro, NJ, Portland, ME or a remote option.
Job Type: Full Time, permanent
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM
Compensation: The target base pay range for this position is $90K-$110K base plus an annual bonus commensurate with the individual's experience and qualifications.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience
  • Hands-on experience or exposure to Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Node, Apache Kafka, MongoDB, and ReactJS
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL databases, AWS, Azure, Rest API, Salesforce Apex development and GraphQL is a plus
  • Experience in veterinary medicine industry is an enormous advantage
  • Adaptability, willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, fast learner, and ability to pick up new things quickly
