As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. You will use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply deep technical knowledge to design and implement robust software components that meet project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
- Support and guide team members by sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions that enhance system performance and reliability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize development processes and quality standards.
*This role requires working onsite with the client 3 days per week in NYC, Jersey City or Pennington, NJ*Basic Qualifications:- Minimum 5 years of work experience in Java Full Stack Development
- Advanced proficiency in Spring Boot
- Associate's Degree
Preferred Qualifications:- Advanced proficiency in MongoDB, Oracle Database and Rest API Testing
- Bank Experience
