Full Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help scale a mission-critical platform at the intersection of defense technology, AI, robotics, and large-scale sensor networks. You'll join a well-funded startup where engineers have significant ownership, build products that turn complex data into actionable insights, and take projects from idea to production in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with government contracts or regulated environments is highly valued.

  • 7-12 years of full-stack software engineering experience, with a strong backend focus.
  • Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, Python, React, Node.js, and AWS.
  • Proven experience designing microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-based applications.
  • Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines and real-time systems.
  • Ability to work independently, manage projects from concept to production, and make sound technical decisions.
  • Experience working within government contracting, defense, or other regulated environments.


Responsibilities
  • Lead the transition from monolithic applications to scalable microservices and build reliable data pipelines across the platform.
  • Develop and maintain web and mobile applications using TypeScript, React, React Native, Python, and Node.js.
  • Design, build, and support backend services and APIs that power mission-critical products.
  • Work extensively with AWS services, including S3, Kinesis, EC2, Fargate, and IoT to support large-scale operations.
  • Own features end-to-end, from customer feedback and technical design through deployment and ongoing improvements.
  • Partner with product, operations, and leadership teams to deliver solutions that directly impact customers and business growth.


Preferred Qualifications

Experience with React Native mobile development.

Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Kinesis, EC2, Fargate, and IoT.

Experience with Java and/or Kotlin.

Knowledge of streaming technologies and protocols such as RTSP and SRT.

Experience working with sensor networks, edge computing, or real-time data platforms.
