Location: Los Angeles, CA (on-site)
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer who is comfortable working across both front-end and back-end systems. This role will be responsible for designing and developing scalable web architecture, ensuring application performance and responsiveness, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-quality products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment
- Maintain, optimize, and upgrade production systems
- Design, build, test, and deploy scalable applications
- Own end-to-end development of features and services
- Contribute to and help improve automated testing processes
- Review, modify, and enhance existing codebases
- Architect and develop front-end user experiences and interactions
- Build and maintain back-end services and APIs
- Ensure cross-platform optimization and mobile responsiveness
- Collaborate with design and product teams to deliver intuitive user experiences
- Balance technical requirements with user needs
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices
Successful Candidates Will Possess:
- 5+ years of relevant full stack development experience
- Strong expertise in React and Next.js (required)
- Strong familiarity and expertise with Vercel
- Ability to use modern (AI-powered) development tools but also has not forgotten how to apply a critical eye to any piece of code in the codebase and also apply system-level thinking.
- Experience with React Native is a plus
- Deep knowledge of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern libraries/frameworks (primarily React and Next.js; familiarity with Angular or jQuery is a plus)
- Experience working in cloud-based environments such as Vercel, AWS, PlanetScale, or MongoDB Atlas; familiarity with similar PaaS tools is good
- Strong organizational skills with attention to documentation and detail
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, Postgres, and MongoDB
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Experience with server-side programming languages such as Rust, Python, or Go is a plus
- Familiarity with database systems and caching technologies such as Redis, Memcached, or Varnish
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and prototyping
- Experience working with Nginx or Apache servers and Linux environments, with the ability to troubleshoot performance issues
- Ability to think through and architect systems, then execute on building them end-to-end

Salary Range: The salary target for this role is $140,000 - $160,000+. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and most recent market data. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, in addition to our robust benefits package.
