Full Job Description

About the job:

As aFull-Stack Developer (Individual Contributor), you will design, build and evolveend-to-end applicationscoveringfrontend, backendanddatabases, taking solutions from requirements to production with strong engineering quality. Your focus will be on delivering reliable, scalable and maintainable software, applyingDevSecOpsprinciples across the lifecycle: secure-by-design architecture, automated testing, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and continuous security controls. You will collaborate closely withproduct, design, architecture, security, risk and compliance teamsto define requirements, validate technical decisions, and ensure systems are auditable and compliant. The role is hands-on and technical (no people management) and is especially valued if you have experience delivering cloud-native services onAzureand building modern web UIs and APIs.

Functions (duties and responsibilities):

  • Translate business needs into end-to-end solution designs, aligning stakeholders across product, design, architecture, security, risk and compliance.
  • Build backend services and APIs (REST and/or event-driven) with strong fundamentals in performance, resiliency, error handling and versioning.
  • Develop responsive, accessible and performant user interfaces, integrating with backend APIs and collaborating with UX/UI to deliver great user experiences.
  • Design data models and integrate with relational and/or NoSQL databases, ensuring data quality, consistency, and efficient querying (indexes, migrations, backups).
  • Apply DevSecOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, code quality gates, security scanning (SAST/DAST/dependency), secrets management and secure configuration.
  • Provision and operate environments using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform/Bicep), containerization, and cloud services, balancing cost, performance and resiliency.
  • Implement security and compliance controls: authentication/authorization, least privilege, encryption, logging/auditing, retention and evidence for internal/external reviews.
  • Own application observability: metrics, logs and tracing; define SLIs/SLOs, set up alerting and contribute to incident response and post-mortems.
  • Document architectures and decisions, perform code reviews, and contribute reusable components, templates and playbooks to speed up delivery across teams.

Your profile:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5+ years of experience delivering production software as a full-stack and/or backend/frontend developer.
  • Strong knowledge of modern web development: HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and at least one frontend framework (e.g., React, Angular or Vue).
  • Backend development experience with one or more languages/frameworks (e.g., Java/Spring, .NET, Node.js, Python) and API design best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with databases: SQL modeling, query optimization, and practical use of at least one relational DB (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and/or NoSQL.
  • Solid engineering practices: clean code, code reviews, automated testing (unit/integration/e2e), and observability (logging, metrics, tracing).
  • Experience with CI/CD and release automation, plus Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform/Bicep) and containerization (Docker; Kubernetes is a plus).
  • Security mindset and DevSecOps fundamentals: OWASP Top 10, dependency management, secrets handling, secure auth (OAuth2/OIDC), and least-privilege access.
  • Excellent command of English and Spanish (German is a plus).

The ideal candidate has experience in:

  • Cloud-native development on Azure (or equivalent): managed services, networking basics, and secure enterprise integration patterns.
  • Microservices and integration (API gateways, messaging/event-driven architectures) with attention to backward compatibility and operational concerns.
  • DevSecOps tooling: pipelines with security gates, artifact/version management, SBOM, and automated compliance evidence.
  • End-to-end testing strategies and quality automation (contract tests, e2e tests, performance tests) integrated into CI/CD.
  • Observability and operations: monitoring, alerting, SRE practices, incident management, and cost/performance optimization.
  • Working in agile, multidisciplinary teams, leading technical discussions, mentoring by example, and promoting secure coding and continuous improvement.

Skills:

Application Development, CI/CD, Cloud Based Services, DevSecOps, English Language, Microsoft Azure, Spanish Language
