Full-Stack Developer (IoT & Cloud) - Job Description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to design, build, and support scalable applications that power IoT, Industry 4.0, and connected platform solutions. This role works closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver modern, cloud-native systems using .NET, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications supporting IoT and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • Collaborate with clients, product owners, architects, and internal teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices using C#/.NET and Java.
  • Develop responsive, intuitive front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
  • Architect and implement cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
  • Develop IoT integrations using MQTT, event-driven patterns, device connectivity, and telemetry processing.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and solution planning.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
  • Deploy and scale containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Conduct testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.


Basic Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of software development experience with strong expertise in C#/.NET.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Java development.
  • 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • 3+ years working with Microsoft Azure.
  • 3+ years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployment.
  • 2+ years of Linux administration and troubleshooting.
  • 3+ years designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Knowledge of TDD, BDD, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
  • Understanding of MQTT and IoT ecosystems.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


Work Model
  • Hybrid role; minimum 3 days per week onsite at the client location.


Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.


Nice to Have
  • Experience with Azure IoT Hub, Event Hubs, DPS, Logic Apps, or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Front-end experience with React, Angular, Vue, Next.js, or Nuxt.js.
  • Exposure to MongoDB, Cosmos DB, graph databases, or Digital Twin technologies.
  • Background in Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, or Industrial IoT.
  • Certifications in Azure, AWS, or Kubernetes.
  • Consulting or client-facing delivery experience.


Pay Transparency

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $87,120-$151,250. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
