Full Stack + AI Architect

Software Solution Architect I

We are seeking a highly experienced Full Stack + AI Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native applications integrated with advanced AI/ML capabilities. This role will be responsible for defining end-to-end architecture across frontend, backend, data, and AI layers, while working closely with stakeholders at the client location.

The opportunity:
• Define and drive end-to-end solution architecture across UI, backend services, data layers, and AI/ML components.
• Act as the primary onsite technical architect, engaging with client stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable architectures.
• Design and implement full stack solutions using modern frameworks (frontend, backend, APIs, microservices).
• Architect and integrate AI/ML/GenAI solutions (e.g., predictive models, NLP, copilots) into enterprise applications.
• Design cloud-native and event-driven architectures ensuring scalability, resilience, and performance.
• Define and enforce architecture standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices across the program.

What you need:
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with 3-5+ years in architect roles.
• Strong experience in full stack development (frontend frameworks, backend services, APIs).
• Proven experience in designing and implementing AI/ML or GenAI-based solutions.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
• Deep understanding of microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.
• Experience working in onsite-offshore delivery models.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience in Healthcare domain is highly desirable.
• Exposure to LLM frameworks, MLOps, and AI lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with data engineering tools, data lakes, and real-time processing frameworks.
• Experience with security, compliance, and governance models in enterprise environments.
• Certifications in cloud or AI/ML domains are a plus.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote-US

Compensation Range: $123,000-$185,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
