Full Job Description
The Process Solutions and Automation practice at EY is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Manager to lead large-scale business transformation engagements for financial services clients. This leadership role is responsible for helping organizations reimagine and optimize end-to-end operations through process excellence, intelligent automation, Generative AI, and emerging AI-enabled technologies.

As a Senior Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and senior business leaders, helping clients define transformation strategies, develop enterprise-wide operating models, and execute complex transformation programs that deliver measurable business value. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee delivery portfolios, contribute to practice growth, and play a key role in developing EY talent and market offerings.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in banking, insurance, wealth and asset management, or capital markets operations, along with substantial experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives, automation programs, and AI-enabled innovation efforts.

This will be a full-time opportunity for a suitable candidate with an expectation of 50% domestic travel and up to 10% international travel as required.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Transformation Leadership
  • Serve as the engagement lead and strategic advisor to executive stakeholders, including C-suite leaders, on business transformation, process optimization, automation, and AI-enabled operating model initiatives.
  • Lead large-scale, enterprise-wide transformation programs from strategy through execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive transformation vision, governance structures, operating models, and change adoption across complex organizations.

Business Architecture & Process Transformation
  • Oversee assessment of current-state business capabilities, operating models, value streams, and processes to identify strategic transformation opportunities.
  • Lead the design of future-state business architectures, capability models, target operating models, and intelligent automation strategies.
  • Define enterprise frameworks, governance models, standards, and best practices supporting scalable transformation and innovation.

AI, Automation & Innovation Leadership
  • Shape client strategy for leveraging Intelligent Automation, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Process Mining, and emerging technologies.
  • Guide the identification, prioritization, and implementation of automation and AI use cases that drive operational efficiency, improved controls, risk reduction, and enhanced customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with technology, data, and solution architecture leaders to align business and technology transformation objectives.

Portfolio & Delivery Leadership
  • Lead multiple concurrent client engagements and transformation workstreams across geographies and functions.
  • Provide executive oversight for engagement delivery, quality management, risk mitigation, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
  • Establish program governance and executive reporting structures to monitor progress and business outcomes.

Business Development & Practice Growth
  • Partner with EY leadership to develop and expand client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and support sales pursuits.
  • Lead proposal development, executive presentations, client workshops, and solution development activities.
  • Contribute to the growth of the Process Solutions and Automation practice through thought leadership, innovation, and market-facing activities.

People Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams consisting of Managers, Senior Consultants, and Consultants.
  • Provide career development, performance coaching, and mentorship to team members.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, innovation, and inclusion.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree (MBA, MS, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field) preferred.
  • 12+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years leading large-scale business transformation, business architecture, process excellence, automation, or operational strategy initiatives within Financial Services organizations.
  • Deep expertise across one or more Financial Services sectors, including Banking, Wealth & Asset Management, Insurance, or Capital Markets.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise transformation programs with budgets, executive stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience advising C-suite and senior executive leadership on strategic transformation initiatives.
  • Proven track record developing transformation roadmaps, operating models, business cases, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Intelligent Automation, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Process Mining, and digital transformation methodologies.
  • Experience leading complex consulting engagements and managing client relationships.
  • Strong business development experience, including proposal support, client account growth, and solution development.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
  • Lean Six Sigma, BPMN, Business Architecture, Process Mining, Agile, or related certification preferred.

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $150,400 to $343,600. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $180,500 to $390,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
