About the RoleWe're looking for a
Frontend Engineer to build user-facing features across web and mobile. You'll work closely with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver clean, performant, and scalable experiences. This is a role for someone who wants to be hands-on in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to features while growing their skills as part of a high-performing engineering team.
What You'll Do- Feature Development: Build and ship user-facing features across mobile (Flutter) and web (React/Next.js).
- Collaboration: Partner with product and design to translate requirements into intuitive, high-quality experiences.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, participating in code reviews and contributing to shared standards.
- Performance & Reliability: Ensure features are performant, accessible, and resilient at scale.
- Design System: Contribute to the evolution of Made's design system and frontend best practices.
- Problem Solving: Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications across platforms.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with frontend technologies and bring ideas to improve our stack and workflows.
Ideal Background- 3-5+ years of frontend engineering experience.
- Proficiency with Flutter (Dart) for mobile and React/Next.js (or similar frameworks) for web applications.
- Track record of shipping high-quality features in consumer-facing products.
- Strong understanding of modern JavaScript/TypeScript, component-based architecture, and responsive design.
- Collaborative mindset, with experience working closely with product managers and designers.
- Eagerness to grow technically while contributing to a fast-moving team.

Nice to Have- Experience in fintech, credit cards, or other regulated consumer products.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with design systems and modern design tools like Figma
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and performance optimization.
- Background in secure data handling, authentication flows, and compliance-heavy environments
