This role supports factories in the Advanced Product Center (APC), Texas Module Integration and Test (TMIT). The CellLeader will manage 18 to 20 Production or Test employees.

What You Will Do

  • Plan and set day-to-day operational objectives within a clearly defined area of responsibility for the team.

  • Assign tasks to achieve operational targets, service standards, etc.

  • Manage day-to-day elements of the budget (e.g., overhead charging, overtime for staff, Hours per Unit).

  • Communicate with parties within and outside of own team.

  • Ensure policies, practices and procedures are followed by direct reports.

  • Provide day-to-day work direction for team, focused on maintaining steady workflow and productivity and resolving operational decisions.

  • Provide primary input to hiring, firing, promotion, performance, and rewards decisions for direct reports.

  • Understand basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

  • Experience working in a manufacturing aerospace and/ordefense industryenvironment

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with some or minimal supervision

  • Experience with information technology systems, and experience working in amicroelectronics assembly factoryor similar environment

  • Knowledge ofLean6 Sigma

  • Experienceworking with a diverse array of personnel, with excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in managing test equipment.

  • Familiarity with industry or military specifications advantageous

  • Familiarity with Circuit Card Repairs/modifications.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
