Full Job Description
About the Role

The FP&A Analyst maintains and develops defined components of Behavox's financial and operating models, ensuring that forecasts, budgets, actuals, and underlying accounting assumptions are accurately reflected. The role produces financial analysis that explains performance, tests key assumptions, and gives decision-makers a clear view of the financial implications of operating choices.

The analyst executes recurring SaaS forecasting, scenario analysis, and business-review reporting within established FP&A frameworks. The role also supports acquisition evaluation and integration by preparing valuation inputs, scenario analyses, and defined components of pro-forma models, with review on higher-complexity judgments and transaction assumptions.

The role works independently on established analyses and model components, identifying inconsistencies and improving the reliability and efficiency of recurring financial work. It is accountable for the accuracy, traceability, and timely execution of its outputs, while broader model architecture, transaction conclusions, and financial decisions remain outside its ownership.
What You'll Bring
  1. Financial Modeling & Accounting Foundations - Applies three-statement, operating-model, and accounting principles to maintain assigned model components, including SaaS revenue recognition and cost treatment, and accurately incorporates approved budgets and actuals.
  2. Forecasting & SaaS Unit Economics - Understands bottom-up forecasting, driver-based modeling, and SaaS unit economics sufficiently to identify the operational drivers behind forecast and performance movements.
  3. Mergers, Acquisitions & Integration - Applies valuation, purchase-accounting, pro-forma, and consolidation concepts to defined acquisition analyses and integration work under established transaction assumptions.
  4. Business & Commercial Economics - Understands the company's principal revenue drivers, cost structure, and operating levers and applies that knowledge to investigate variances and assess financial implications.
  5. Financial Systems & AI Tooling - Understands spreadsheet modeling, financial-data workflows, automation, and appropriate AI use sufficiently to improve recurring analysis while preserving validation and financial control.
What You'll Do
  1. Financial Model Execution - Maintains assigned components of integrated financial and operating models by incorporating actuals, approved budgets, forecasts, scenarios, and sensitivities to produce accurate and traceable financial outputs.
  2. Acquisition Analysis - Builds defined valuation, scenario, and pro-forma analyses using agreed methodologies and transaction assumptions to support acquisition evaluation, diligence, and integration.
  3. Business-Review Analysis - Produces recurring financial analysis by reconciling results and isolating material performance drivers to provide accurate explanations for monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews.
  4. Metrics & Scenario Analysis - Diagnoses financial and SaaS metric movements by testing assumptions and modeling defined operating levers and downside scenarios to provide evidence-based inputs to business decisions.
  5. AI-Enabled Financial Analysis - Applies AI and spreadsheet automation to recurring modeling, validation, and analytical workflows while verifying outputs to reduce manual effort without compromising financial accuracy.
What We Offer
  • The opportunity to work on a global, mission-critical AI platform alongside the best engineers and technologists across multiple geographies.
  • A role with real ownership and impact, building complex systems at scale in an environment that values speed, experimentation, and technical excellence.
  • A highly attractive benefits package, including competitive cash compensation, and an equity award aligned with long-term value creation.
  • Modern, comfortable offices in Toronto and Montreal. This is a hybrid role (1 day in office).
  • A generous time-off policy of 30 days annually, plus public holidays and sick leave, recognizing the importance of sustained high performance.

We take Talent very seriously and we are building a community of extraordinary individuals working together in very high performing teams. We also know that the best Talent always has options so we believe that the process has to be a two way assessment - the company AND the candidate assessing the business needs alignment, the career next step alignment, and the cultural alignment.

The most aligned candidate will then be asked to do a practical work task simulation activity so we can make sure that you will enjoy the kind of work the role requires, and this task will typically be presented and discussed with a group of colleagues and managers. Finally we will ask you to meet with a number of our senior leaders to make sure that you are making the most informed call possible.
Please note that:
  • We want to get to know you and have a genuine conversation, so the use of AI tools or assistance during live interviews is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification from the process
