Summary:

The Foundations Officer develops and manages strategic relationships with foundation partners and prospective funders to secure philanthropic support for both local and system-wide priorities. The role identifies and qualifies new funding opportunities, aligns organizational initiatives with foundation interests, and creates compelling funding strategies and proposals that advance mission-driven goals. Working collaboratively across the health system, the Foundations Officer leads foundation engagement efforts, manages proposal and reporting activities, and coordinates the development of foundation-supported projects. The position maintains accurate donor records, monitors fundraising progress, and provides leadership with regular updates on pipeline activity, funding opportunities, and stewardship outcomes.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Minimum of three years of progressive philanthropy experience with foundations experience preferred.


Additional Information

The pay range for this position is $71,448.00 to $96,636.80 per year.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
